LAUNCH Audi A6L 2013 44 Power Steering Online Programming and Online Parametric Configuration

Audi A6L 44 Power Steering Online Programming and Online Parametric Configuration


Function description:

The 44 power steering system of Audi A6L has a DTC B200049 Faulty Control Module. You can try to perform the online programming and online parametric configuration functions first.


Supported products:

Launch PADIII, PADV, PADVII and other comprehensive diagnostic equipment that support programming functions

The yellow steering wheel MIL on the instrument panel turns on. (See the following figure.)

Procedure:

1. Save the fault report. The 44 power steering system has a DTC B200049 Faulty Control Module. (See the following figure.)

2. Choose [Online Function]. (See the following figure.)

3. Choose [Online Programming]. (See the following figure.)

4. Read the disclaimer carefully and click OK. (See the following figure.)

5. Confirm that the programming conditions are met. Click OK. (See the following figure.)

6. Choose [Automatic Mode]. (See the following figure.)

7. Choose [44 Power Steering] and click [Click to Program]. (See the following figure.)

8. Carefully compare the system information and the optional files. The first optional file is the closest to the system information. (See the following figure.)

9. Choose the first optional file and click OK.

10. Click OK to download the file. (See the following figure.)


11. Click [DOWNLOAD]. (See the following figure.)

12. The download is successful. Click OK. (See the following figure.)

13. Flash is completed. Operate the vehicle according to the prompts. After the operations are completed, click OK. (See the following figure.)

14. After the update, the VW dataset number or ECU data container number changes to “- - -”. It is necessary to perform the online parametric configuration function. (See the following figure.)

15. Online programming is successfully performed. Click [Yes]. (See the following figure.)

16. Click [Yes] to exit. (See the following figure.)

17. Choose [Online Parametric Configuration]. (See the following figure.)

18. Read the disclaimer carefully and click OK. (See the following figure.)

19. Choose [44 Power Steering] and click [Click to Reprogram]. (See the following figure.)

20. Carefully compare the system information and the optional files. The first and second optional files are the closest to the system information. (See the following figure.)

21. Choose the first optional file and click OK. (See the following figure.)

22. Flashing the ECU... (See the following figure.)

23. Operate the vehicle according to the prompts. After the operations are completed, click OK. (See the following figure.)

24. After the update, the VW dataset number or ECU data container number changes to 4GD909852E. The VW dataset version number changes to 0020. (See the following figure.)

25. Flashing the parametric configuration file is completed. Click [Yes]. (See the following figure.)

26. Save the fault report. The 44 power steering system has no DTC. (See the following figure.)

27. The yellow steering wheel MIL on the instrument panel turns off. (See the following figure.)
