LAUNCH Basic Settings of VW Magotan Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor

Basic Settings of VW Magotan Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor
Function description:
On VW Magotan 2009, the 53 parking brake has the DTC: 01279 longitudinal acceleration sensor without or incorrect basic settings/matching.
The basic settings of the longitudinal acceleration sensor need to be performed.
Supported products:
Launch PRO or PAD series comprehensive diagnostic equipment
Tested model:
VW Magotan 2009, VIN: LFV3A23C293 ****** (See the following figure)
Procedure:
1. Save the fault report. The 53 parking brake has the DTC: 01279 longitudinal acceleration sensor without or incorrect basic settings/matching. (See the following
figure.)
2. The 53 parking brake does not have the basic settings of the longitudinal acceleration sensor. Access “03 Brake Electronics”. (See the following figure.)
3. Choose [16 Access Permission]. 40168= basic setting enabling. Click OK. (See the following figure.)
4. Input “40168”. Click OK. (See the following figure.)
5. Login is successful. Click OK. (See the following figure.)
6. Choose [04 Basic Settings], and then choose [Read by List]. (See the following figure.)
7. Choose [061, Adjustment of Rotation Rate & Lateral/Longit. Acc. Sensor (G200/G202/G251)]. (See the following figure.)
8. Click [Adjust]. (See the following figure.)
9. Save the fault report. The 53 parking brake has no DTC. (See the following figure.)
