Function Description:
Support FORD MONDEO as of 2014.
This function needs to be performed when the rear wheel brake pad is replaced.
Prerequisites:
Turn on the ignition switch and stop the engine.
Rear wheel brake pad replacement involves two submenus "Brake wheel cylinder
retraction" and "Brake wheel cylinder release". Before replacing the brake pad,
retract the brake wheel cylinder and then release it.
If you do not know the car displacement and car model, you can select Automatic
Scan to test.
Procedure:
1). Choose brake pad reset V10.44 or a later version.
2). Choose FORD.
3).Turn on the ignition switch.
4).The two menus "Automatic Scan" and "Manual Selection" are displayed.
5).Choose "Automatic Scan". The scan progress is displayed.
6).After scanning is complete, the function menu is displayed.
7).Choose Rear Wheel Brake Pad Replacement. Vehicle information is displayed. See Figure. Press OK to perform step 13.
8).Choose Manual Selection. The car models are displayed. Choose Mondeo (Ford Mondeo).
9).Choose 2.0L.
10).Choose 2015.
11).Choose Rear Wheel Brake Pad Replacement.
12).Perform the brake wheel cylinder retraction function.
13).The precautions for brake wheel cylinder retraction are displayed.
14).Choose Yes to check again that ignition is on and engine stopped.
15).Choose OK. The program is running until the brake pad is replaced.
16).The brake wheel cylinder retraction function is complete. Choose Brake Wheel Cylinder Release.
17).Choose OK.
18).The function is complete.
