Ford Kuga AWD Programmable Module Installation Guide


Model:

2008 Kuga


Operation:

Replace the AWD module and input data manually


Conditions and Requirements:

The communication is normal, and battery voltage stable


Software Version:

Ford V48.50 or above


Product requirement:

X431 PRO series, PAD series products.


Operation Steps:

1. Enter “Ford” software and choose “Auto Search”.

2. Confirm the vehicle specification, and choose “Yes”.

3. Select “Module Programming”.

4. Select “Programmable Module Installation”.

5. Select “AWD(All Wheel Drive”.

6. Whether the original mode still available? If we have removed it, please select “No”.

7. Read the tips carefully, select “manual” when we have replaced by a new module or original module not available.

8. Input the VIN code on Ford OEM website to query the original factory data, find the corresponding section of ‘761-01-01’ and manually enter the data in turn

9. Set ignition switch to OFF (position 0).

10. Input the VIN.

11. Confirm the VIN right or not.

12. Install a new module in vehicle.

13. Turn on ignition.

14. Wait, communicating…

15. Succeeded.
