Operating Instructions for BMW EGS Erasure Function

Function introduction

Erase BMW F，G Chassis 8HP transmission ECU. To replace the disassembled transmission ECU, it cannot be programmed directly. It needs to be erased before programming and using.

Condition requirements

Device requirements: PRO and other Android devices of 431 products, X431-G/X431-G3 Immobilizer with key adapter;

Software requirements: BMW V50.52 and above

Steps

1. The following is a detailed introduction to the F, G Chassis 8HP transmission ECU Erasure function (Take the F Chassis 8HP transmission ECU as an example).

1.1 Enter the software, and select [Anti-Theft System]

1.2 Click [OK]

1.3 Enter the Anti-Theft System, and you need to connect with X431-G/X431-G3 Anti-Theft key adapter to perform the next step

1.4 Select [EGS System]

1.5 Select [F Chassis 8HP]

1.6 The transmission ECU can be installed on vehicle through OBD to erase, or it can be erased by directly connecting to the ECU. For the pins of direct connection, please refer to image below (The direct connecting harness is coming soon), and click [OK]

1.7 Select [EGS Erasure] function

1.8 Erasure of EGS requires connecting to the network to download programming files, please connect to the network in advance and click [Download]

1.9 The function of EGS Erasure allows downloading the programming files for twice, click [OK] after downloaded

1.10 Erasure of EGS requires programming ECU and upgrading the FLASH. Please ensure the supply voltage is not below 13V and is stable during upgrading. Click [Yes] for the next step
