LAUNCH Operation Instructions for Mercedes-Benz ME9.7 ECU Erasing

Operation Instructions for Mercedes-Benz ME9.7 ECU Erasing

ME9.7 ECU Erasing

LAUNCH X431 PRO5 diagnostic device


Tested ECU:

ME9.7 ECU, as shown in below:

Operation guide:

1. After entering the Mercedes-Benz Anti-Theft software, connect it according to the wiring diagram, and click "OK" (as shown in the figure below);

2. Click “ECU Erasing” (as shown in the figure below);

3. Click “Engine Control Unit” (as shown in the figure below);

4. Click “Wiring Diagram” (as shown in the figure below);

5. Click “ME9.7” (as shown in the figure below);

6. Remove the module and connect according to the wiring diagram, then click "OK" (as shown in the figure below);

7. Click Back on the navigation bar below (as shown in the figure below);

8. Click “Completely Erase Module” (as shown in the figure below);

9. Click "OK" (as shown in the figure below);

10. Display the information of ECU before erasing, click "OK" to start erasing (as shown in the figure below);

11. Select whether to back up data according to your needs, here select "No" (as shown in the figure below);

12. Click "YES" (as shown in the figure below);

13. Erasing the module in progress (as shown in the figure below);

14. The module is successfully erased, and the information of ECU after erasing is displayed, click "OK" to complete the erasing (as shown in the figure below).
