LAUNCH TPMS Land Rover Range Rover 2014 Tire Pressure Sensor Learning Operation Guide

Function description:

Tire pressure sensor learning guide after tire pressure sensor replacement


Using tools:

CRT 711 (This operation takes CRT 711 as an example. For the specific operations about other tire pressure devices of Launch, you can refer to this method.)

(Continental) FW931A159AB


Device version information:

V10.32 and later version information in the upper left corner of the menu.


Fault description:

Occasionally, the four tire pressures display abnormal 0.0 and the tire pressure light is on, as shown in the following figure.

Procedure:

1. Select Launch[CRT711], select the [Tire Pressure System] function, and select the corresponding menu based on the information on the vehicle nameplate:

Land Rover→Land Rover→[2014/01-2016/12(433MHZ)]

Activate the tire pressure sensors inside the tires and find that all four tire sensors cannot be activated (activation failure indicates sensor damage and

needs to be replaced).

Note: Jaguar Land Rover's sensors are quite special. The activation time is quite long; it takes about 0-60 seconds.

2. Click on the [Programming] function above, and then select [Auto] to program the four LTR-Sensors. (Note: You can also choose to manually create and input the original vehicle sensor ID or OBD copy sensor ID. The sensor programmed using this method does not require [sensor learning] and can be directly installed for road testing.)

3. Install the programmed sensor into the vehicle to replace the damaged tire pressure sensor, as shown in the following figure.

4. Click the [Activate] function again to activate the four replaced tire pressure sensors, as shown in the following figure.

5. Click on the [Learning] function above, and then click on the [OBD relearning] button at the bottom right, as shown in the following figure.

(Note: OBD learning is to write the sensor ID and position of the activation interface into the vehicle's tire pressure computer.)

6. Sensory learning successfully.

7. Click on the [Activate] interface again, and then click on the [Read ECU ID] in the bottom right corner to confirm whether the ID has been successfully learned (note: if the ID position is correct, the font color will be black, and if the position is incorrect, the font will be red), as shown in the figure.

8. Select [Diagnose] and then click [Read DTC]. If the car still has a fault code, it is necessary to clear the fault code, as shown in the following figure.

9. Increase the pressure of all four tires to 250kpa, and the customer conducted a 15 minutes road test at a speed of 30km/h or above.

There were no abnormal tire pressure alarms, and the problem was resolved.
