Function description:
Operation guide for tire pressure sensor learning function.
Tools used:
CRT 511S (This operation takes CRT 511S as an example. For the specific operations about other tire pressure devices of Launch, you can refer to this method.)
Tested models:
2010 Range Rover Sport
Sensor OE number:
(Continental) BH521A159AA
Fault description:
The instrument tire pressure lamp is on, and a tire pressure monitoring system fault is reported, as shown in the following figure.
Procedure:
1. Activate the four sensors on the vehicle in sequence according to the corresponding positions, and find that the FR and RL wheels cannot be activated, thereby judging that the FR and RL tire pressure sensors are faulty, as shown in the following figure.
2. Return to the main page and click [Program Sensor]. The device will automatically create 2 new IDs. Install the programmed Launch tire pressure sensor into the wheel, as shown in the following figure.
3. Return to the main page and click [Relearn], as shown in the following figure.
4. The device prompts whether to save the activated data. Click [OK] to save, as shown in the following figure.
5. You can activate the sensor on this page. If you need to modify it, you can reactivate it. After confirming that it is correct, click [OK], as shown in the following figure.
6. The activation information cannot be modified on this page. After confirming that it is correct, click [OK], as shown in the following figure.
7. The device prompts that the sensor has been successfully learned, as shown in the following figure.
8. After successful learning, the tire pressure lamp on the instrument panel will turn off, as shown in the following figure. (In many old Land Rover models, the tire pressure lamp cannot turn off after successful tire pressure matching. In this case, it is necessary to conduct a road test under the condition of normal data streams or power off the vehicle after risk assessment.)
