Volkswagen Golf fault code:

C10E254 electromechanical parking brake control unit-no basic settings, need to perform this function.


Issue description:

Electronic parking brake failure, as shown below:

Operation Guide:

1. X-431 remote diagnosis, read the fault code of 03 brake electronic device as follows; C10E254 electromechanical parking brake control unit-no basic setting, the state is active/static, the fault code cannot be cleared

2. Select "04 Basic Settings" option.

3. Select "Electric-mechanical parking brake function test"

4. Click "Adjust" option

5. The basic setting status is running

6. Read the fault code of 03 brake electronic device as follows: C10E254 electromechanical parking brake-no basic settings, the state is Passive/Abiogenesis

7. Click "Yes" to clear the fault memory

8. Clear the fault code has been completed, click "Yes" to read the fault code(DTC) again

9. There is no fault code of C10E254

10. The instrument has no fault light
