LAUNCH VW Brake System Bleeding Tiguan 2011

2011 Shanghai VW Tiguan ABS Pump Bleeding Method

Vehicle Coverage:

Shanghai VW Tiguan, 2011, VIN=LSVUC65N9B26*****


Prerequisites:

1) If the vehicle is equipped with the M/T, depress and release the clutch pedal.

2) Vehicle is stationary.

3) The parking brake is applied.

4) For M/T, the gear lever is in N gear.

5) For A/T, the gear lever is in P gear.


Procedure:

1). Choose Shanghai VW V27.80 or a later version.

2). Choose VW GM System.

3). Choose System Selection.

4).Choose 03 Brake System.

5).The 03 brake system information is displayed.

6).Choose 04 System Basic Adjustment.

7).Choose Read by List.

8).Choose "001, brake system bleeding" and click OK.

9).Depress and hold the brake pedal, and click Adjust.

10).The information "Please wait (10s)" is displayed. Click Adjust.

11).The information "Release pedal" is displayed. Click Adjust.

12).Perform bleeding in the order from long pipe to short pipe. Here, first loosen

the RR wheel bleed bolt and click Adjust.

13).The information "Please wait (10s)" is displayed. Click Adjust.

14).The information "Tighten bleed bolt" is displayed. Click Adjust.

15).Repeat steps 8 to 13 to bleed the RL, FR, and FL wheels separately until no air flows out of the bleed bolt. The brake system becomes normal and the process ends.
