VW Crash Shut-Off Activation Reset Steps Volkswagen TAYRON 2019

Symptom:
Engine cannot start after the accident; the engine light is on, the data bus diagnostic interface system reports B189CF0 collision switch activation fault code
Solution:
Collision switch reset
Starting conditions:
The ignition switch is turned on, do not the start the engine, and the battery voltage is above 12V.
Steps:
1.“19 Gateway” system reports B189CF0 crash shut-off activation fault code.
2. Enter “19 Gateway” system, select the option “Basic Settings”.
3. Select the option ‘Reset Of Reversible Crash Shut-Off’ checkbox and click OK to enter.
4. Click the lower left corner to adjust to reset.
5.Until the basic setting status is displayed ‘Finished correctly’, just need clearing the fault code and start vehicle to check whether fixed.
